CHEMTAN® R-97 NEW A retanning polymer for water resistant leathers which are typically soft across the range of weights from garment to shoe upper leathers. Due to the strong filling nature of this product and internal lubricating effect this product is also used for non waterproof leathers. liquid 72% 7.9
CHEMTAN® S-31 A highly stable silicone emulsion as an in-drum treatment for retannage of water-resistant leathers. Produces a high degree of water resistance. This product does not contain VOC’s and complies with all current RS requirements. liquid 32% 5.0
CHEMTAN® S-33 A silicone emulsion used for drum treatment of water resistant leathers. Usually CHEMTAN® S-33 is applied in a fresh float at the end of a retan followed by a metal cap of chrome or Zirconium Sulfate 1-3%. Depending on the degree of water resistance required 1-4% of S-33 can be applied.
